Yacht Vacations 

There is a saying that it is better to have a friend with a yacht than to own one.  But if you don’t have a friend with a yacht there is always the option of chartering one.  There is nothing better than sailing the seas on a beautiful yacht with your personal crew to see to your every need.  It is even better knowing that you don’t own this yacht and therefore don’t have to worry about the upkeep and maintenance.  You can then relax in your lounge chair on the top deck enjoying the beautiful views without a care in the world.

Charter yacht vacations are memories you will not soon forget. As you sail along on the azure seas you will be served freshly prepared meals by the onboard professional chef. Your rooms will be kept neat and you will be provided with fresh linens daily by the crew. You can even request a hot cup of java be served to you in your cabin at sunrise.

When you are finally lured out of your cozy cabin it will be by the smell of a delicious breakfast of fresh fruits, sweet rolls and egg dishes.  After breakfast you may want to do some deep sea fishing and catch a yellow fin tuna or mahi mahi to be served at that evening’s dinner. You might enjoy a day of scuba or skin diving in a beautiful private cove. You can be taken ashore in the yacht’s shore boat to do some sightseeing and shopping.  Whatever your desire I am sure the crew will try to accommodate you and your friends.

There are varied styles of yachts available.  There are large motor yachts and sailboats large enough to accommodate 10 or more guests.  There are small yachts just large enough to host 1 or 2 couples at a time (not including the crew.)  These yachts are equipped with guest rooms as well as crew quarters.  Some are large enough that you wouldn’t even see where the crew stayed.  The crew quarters are generally on the lower decks with the guest cabins being on the upper decks to afford the best views.  There are also large catamarans that have several guest cabins.  The newer yachts, or newly renovated ones, are all equipped with the latest technology to make navigating the high seas effortless.  If you absolutely cannot leave your work at home or just want to stay in touch via the internet most of these yachts also have hookups for your laptop computers.  There are flat screen TV’s onboard where you can view the latest movie in the salon.

Check online to see what is available. You will surely have to make reservations several months in advance. Charter yacht vacations will have stays as short as a weekend or as long as several months. The fees will vary according to the particular yacht you are interested in, the destination, and how long you want to sail. You can even request the menu and snacks and fruits that you may want to have onboard. Most of the yacht charter holidays ads will have photos of the yachts and include floor plans.
